An overview of the position
The Technical Trainer’s main responsibility is to enhance the base level skill and competency of our Alumni graduate population by designing and conducting training in key software, methodologies and programmes used by Wileyedge's clients. They will also be responsible for reviewing and continuously improving the training provided, gaining feedback from their delegates, Wileyedge's employees, senior management, and Wileyedge's clients. It is essential for the post holder to be comfortable in an agile and fast paced environment in a fast-growing company continually blazing new industry trails.
The position requires someone front facing, proactive, organized and innovative, with knowledge in the latest training concepts, designs and methods. The position requires someone with deep industry experience, who brings a network and the mindset to capture value for Wileyedge through building our brand and credentialing the business, as well as someone passionate about technology who is excited to pass on their accumulated wisdom the future generations. The initial focus of the role will be on generating training material and delivering training in group and on a one to one basis across the various different language, software, operating systems, database technologies, methodologies, and vendor software packages Wileyedge's clients use. Lastly, it is important the post-holder acts as a mentor and responsible person with the Alumni population. They will need to be credible, approachable and have high levels of empathy and emotional intelligence.
