Area Sales Manager_Pan India

Job summary and key objectives:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales performance with the goal of expanding our company's market share. His collaborative nature will help him succeed when coordinating with external distributors and internal sales and marketing teams.

Role priorities:

· Total Sales Revenue for target location as per business plan India.

· Collaborate with Customers Service, Projects & Application, Engineering and manufacturing to ensure business requirements are met.

· Communicating and collaborating with Regional Manager on requirements of local business to ensure continues business stability and growth.

· Implementation of “Standard Work” :-

o Sales Play book (Orders & Funnel plan)- Get 100% clarity on inputs (values/timelines)

o Mutual Business Plan (Distribution Management)- Weekly review with Distributors

o Sales & Product Forecasting

o Key Account Card for Top-10 Accounts

o weekly Visits Plan (Every Wednesday to be sent to Regional Manager)

o Use of LCC/CLD with each proposal

· Liaise with end users, contractors and consultants for enhancing Camfil business in the assigned region through aggressive lead generations and new projects.

· Key Account Management

· Grow new customers and expand existing customer business.

· Prepare offers, technical discussions, negotiations, follow up on enquiries.

· Consistent track record of achieving sales targets in a highly dynamic environment.

· Responsible to develop new distributors and manage the sales for the distributors in the Area.

Know-how (Education, Work Experience and Business knowledge)

  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in sales and distributor management
  • B.Tech (Mechanical)/ MBA (Sales)/ MBA (International Business)
  • Additional Degree/Diploma in business management would be preferred

  • Good interpersonal and effective communication (both oral and written) skills.
  • Excellent customer rapport and networking skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills, able to convince strongly and comfortably interact with all levels of an organization.
  • High degree of analytical and problem solving skills, with an application and technical bent of mind. Able to liaise effectively both internally as well as with customers to derive effective solutions related to products, applications and closure of orders.

  • Direct interaction with clients

  • Price negotiations and closure of techno-commercial decisions.
  • Offer preparations
  • Tenders/contracts signing
