Assistant Centre Manager
Reporting to the Centre Manager you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of company business objectives through effective management and co-ordination of the Centre, whilst ensuring a high level of customer service, centre standards and taking a leading role dealing with customers.
The successful candidate will be able to minimise debt risk to the business by maintaining account debts remain within agreed limits and proactively using the debt recovery process to resolve debts in a timely fashion. Support and implementation all marketing tools and data capture procedures. Control costs within the set budget. Adopt the agreed company brand strategy to ensure that profit margins and supplier support is maximized. Reduce waste and cost through the use and ordering of consumables and second line suppliers. Ensure that prior authorisation is received before agreeing or ordering exceptional products, parts, or services. Ensure that stock is ordered within the Centres set profile. Control the allocation and completion of work to maximise the efficiency of the Centres team. Ensure that the company premises are secured and alarmed at the end of day and that only authorized key holders have access to keys and alarm codes. Minimise the risk of stock loss through incorrect invoicing and theft by monitoring the activities of all team members. Ensure that the takings are checked at the end of day and are held in a secure place before banking, with a maximum of two days held at any one time.
Technical or Mechanical experience
Experience of managing multiple priorities
Working knowledge of relevant Health & Safety requirements
Experience of account management
Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships across the business
Commercial awareness to maximize business opportunities
Maintain a high level of integrity with a professional image and a can-do approach
Full UK Driving Licence
City & Guilds or NVQ, or other relevant technical qualifications desirable but not essential
A Health & Safety qualification, e.g. NEBOSH or IOSH or similar desirable but not essential
