About the Opportunity

What will you be accountable for?

Our HR team are at the heart of the business, they are leading the development of a high-performance culture and making Studio Retail Limited a great place to work. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a business whose going through significant transformation.

  • As a On-boarding and employee life cycle contract, offer and onboarding process working with the Junior HRBP, HRBP and HR Assistant, employee life cycle changes from notification to closure
  • Own the HR system and ensure that it is fully and efficiently utilised, working with the HR Systems and Data Specialist to understand how to extract and interpret data around Gender Pay, Staff Turnover, absence etc. Support Senior colleagues in turning this people data into commercially focussed HR action plans
  • Lead the HR Operations team in delivering operational excellence in HR processes and administrative delivery
  • Support in design of Company policies and procedures and review and update as necessary employment contracts and agreements
  • Work with the Business Partners to oversee and advise in performance evaluation systems, ensuring the business adopts and uses these tools
  • Work closely with the Senior HR team to manage the annual remuneration process, including liaising with the Trade Unionyou will be:
  • Leading the development and management of fit for purpose HR systems, MI and reporting
  • Providing regular HR reporting and tracking of key people metrics, identifying patterns and trends to inform recommendations for continuous improvement

Who are we looking for?

As anHR Operations Manageryou will be:

  • Level 7 CIPD qualified or equivalent
  • Track record of overseeing and developing a HR operational team
  • Extensive experience of managing employee relations cases within a fast-paced, customer centric, unionised and regulated environment
  • Excellent working knowledge and awareness of employment related legislation and regulation
  • Experience in translating business plans into meaningful business areas/functional plans
  • Excellent working knowledge of compliance, confidentiality, data protection and security standards and expectations
  • Evidence of continual professional development
  • Commercially astute
  • A proven track record in delivering engagement improvements
  • Excellent multiple stakeholder/shareholder management skills
  • Ability to effectively coach and mentor others
