The Organization: Marketing Operations (MO)
The Marketing Operations (MO) team is an operational arm of Chegg Marketing and is critical to its success. The team is involved in acquiring customers through multiple marketing channels like organic search, paid search, email, social, affiliate, and display. Going beyond customer acquisition, MO participates in analysing students' behavioural trends to enable better business outcomes. The team also monitors and assesses the industry landscape to generate actionable insights.
The Role: Specialist, Search Engine Marketing
Execution of paid search media campaigns in the SA360 platform for Chegg. Managing ad campaign setup, trafficking creative, execution, performance analysis and reporting.
The ideal candidate should be excited to join our team's mission to aid in the strategic growth of Chegg by building the capability of developing processes that increase capacity by making ongoing marketing activities more efficient, scalable, & predictable.
Leading the planning, creation, and on-going management of Paid Search campaigns.
Carrying out health checks on the accounts to ensure they are set up and running as per Chegg best practice.
Proactively performing regular optimization of accounts, monitoring market changes and identifying development opportunities to ensure we hit budget/CPA targets.
Creating and leading the execution of development and testing plans including creatives where possible.
Raising concerns and highlighting opportunities whenever required
Working with the stakeholders to devise campaign strategy and translate this into campaign delivery.
Daily monitoring and reporting of performance through presentations, leading calls and face-to-face meetings with stakeholders and upper management.
Candidate should have at least 4+ years hands-on experience with performance marketing, ideally managing large budgets and experience working with Google Ads.
Experience managing Brand and DR campaigns, optimizing accounts to achieve performance targets.
An expert in developing and implementing audience strategies to optimize Paid Search campaigns.
Experienced in applying bid rules and automation to optimize and complement campaign management tasks.
Able to assess performance, define strategy and prioritize tactics to drive growth and profit
Highly analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel.
Proficient in using advance features available within the native and 3rd party Paid Search platforms (SA360/Kenshoo (Skai) etc.) and tracking platforms like GA, DoubleClick and Adobe Analytics.
Able to clearly articulate the rationale for proposed campaign tactics (channels, budget, audience, formats, etc.) and present these back internally.
Good to have:
Basic knowledge and understanding of DCM (DoubleClick Campaign Manager).
