Product Developer Beauty Accessories

My client is a luxury global design agency that specialise in beauty accessories, they require an Product developer who has a good understanding of manufacturing in China, luxury clients and the beauty industry. Working closely with the creative and development teams you will help curate and develop products for their clients, manage sample timelines and ensuring they are best in class.

Responsibilities:

Liaise between creative teams and factory partners to bring product designs and packaging concepts to life

Collaborate daily with creative teams to provide newly sourced product and fabrication processes to incorporate into client deliverables

Create and maintains multiple program schedules and timelines simultaneously to meet deadlines across multiple seasons and clients

Negotiate costing and program details with factory partners both overseas and domestically for multi sku programs

Gain a deep understanding of each clients unique brand guidelines to maintain consistency throughout the entire project

Communicate with the art Department to deliver flawless die lines and art files set up for production

Create and maintain production files to increase job efficiency, ensure that files and elements are easy to locate for all involved teams

Establish consistent cross-functional partnerships with multiple teams, both in office and overseas

Build spec sheets / tech packs across various product categories

Junior account management responsibilities, including and not limited to liaising with customers, confirming orders and times lines

Requirements:

5+ years of working industry experience

Exercise judgment and project management skills to balance priorities, organize with teams to meet, and clearly communicate needs to overseas factories

Solution-based, demonstrates excellent creativity in problem solving and decision-making skills

Must be flexible, open-minded, and able to pivot quickly to changing project priorities as necessary

Ability to work after-hours and on different time zones when necessary

Entrepreneurial spirit with desire to take ownership of large-scale programs

Dexterity in creating and maintaining spreadsheets for multiple projects at once

A knowledge of materials, finishes, and print techniques
