Tele Sales Specialist

Job Purpose :

We are looking for Tele Sales Specialists to sell the cloud-based SaaS Track and Trace solution to the prospective customers from EXIM / Logistics / Freight Forwarding industry in the designated markets – identify, analyze/ qualify and convert them into valid leads

Key Accountabilities :

  • Identify Prospective customers from EXIM / Logistics / Freight Forwarding industry.
  • Qualify the prospects based on the qualification criteria
  • Connect with the qualified prospects Via Cold calling/ eMail
  • Initiate discussion with prospects to understand their solution needs
  • Validate the requirement and Propose a product Demo to showcase features/ capabilities of Product
  • Hand over the customer details to Sales Team for Demo and further processing/ closure
  • Follow up with passive / no response customers for attending Demo
  • Meet the Weekly/ Monthly targets
  • Act as an ambassador of TechM / client at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with TechM/ client’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following applicable Code of Conduct and Ethics, policies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Basic Qualification:

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Tele sales of relevant industry
  • Very good understanding of one or more industries like EXIM, Freight Forwarding, Transportation, Logistics
  • Must bring in consultative approach, stronger customer orientation with the ability to understand customer needs
  • Result oriented and ability to deliver business targets in new and tough market conditions
  • Team oriented with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Multi-tasking, and able to effectively manage multiple customer engagements with a high degree of responsiveness and meet customer expectations and timelines
  • Ability to work independently, strong attention to customer needs and solution fitment, and a passion for driving pre-sales business activities to develop and grow the business
  • Certification in International Freight Forwarding, or Logistics and Transportation
