Role Summary:


Through comprehensive training, you will acquire skills to set you up as a ServiceNow consultant. You will be part of the team that works toward achieving ServiceNow project delivery and customer satisfaction. Consulting roles are exciting and challenging, our customer base ranges across all industries and sizes. Engagements vary in length from days to months to years. You will be proactive and pragmatic, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills complimented with and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.


You will have implementation experience and an understanding of the ServiceNow platform. If you have 1-3 years of commercial experience in software development and wish to progress in your career within ServiceNow, we would like to hear from you.


  • Software Development (Object-oriented programming (OOP), Java, JavaScript, AngularJS, BMC Remedy)


Main Responsibilities (What we will teach you):


  • Implementation, administration and support of the ServiceNow platform


  • Contributing and supporting process improvement and automation including recommending solutions articulating pros, cons and risks


  • Implementation and delivery of solutions addressing requirements in consideration of process design, ServiceNow technical best practice and standards


  • Hands-on technical delivery (including development, testing and implementation) of cost-effective ServiceNow solutions using a number of technical skills such as HTML, XML, JavaScript/AJAX, Integrations (web services, SOAP, email, MID, etc) - More suited for those moving towards Technical Consultant career path.


  • Ensuring technical deliverables to customers are complete, consistent, high quality, on time, and deliver valued outcomes


Skills Matrix:


  • Must have 1-3 years of experience as a software developer


  • Software Development (Object-oriented programming (OOP), Java, JavaScript, AngularJS, BMC Remedy (ideally)


  • Must have excellent communication, analytical and quantitative skills


  • A passion to grow within a consultancy and learning how to help customers achieve successful outcomes.


  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills


  • An adaptable and progressive learner with the ability to explain complex concepts


  • Ability to work independently and work collaboratively in a team environment.


  • Ability to communicate well and provide ideas, concepts and accurate information to customers in a proactive, clear and concise way.


  • Demonstrates pro-activity in seeking feedback and acting upon it


  • Demonstrates the ability to work with others in developing a mutually supportive relationships


  • Demonstrates use of listening and questioning techniques to understand issues and problems


Qualifications:


  • IT Degree or relevant tertiary education in Computer Science
  • Bonus Points: Any ServiceNow Certifications such as CSA
