The Role
Play a key role within a brand-new small and dynamic team within for a global organisation.
You will be responsible for leading the new Elektron Finished parts team, integrating, maintaining, and developing the quality management system for this department, in line with the LMT Global Quality Management Systems. This role offers the opportunity to implement new and efficient processes aligned with current methods and quality standards within other parts of the business.
This role offers exposure to work with high value clients within the motorsport and aerospace industry.
Your new team will be tasked with providing a revolutionary new sector for Elektron Finished Parts for new and existing clients to offer solutions to raw material handling with rare metals. You will be experienced in Quality Assurance tools, using them to communicate, at all levels, relevant Product Quality data. Within this role you will undertake and track audits using the CAPA database, of both raw material and subcontracted process suppliers to ensure Quality and Compliance of external suppliers to the global business.
Based in the Manchester, the role will require working closely with the EFP Programme Manager, Supply Chain Manager, and Quality Assurance teams to support the fulfilment of customer programmes, to the required quality & cost levels, including the management of external sub-contractors. There may be occasional international travel.
Successful applicants will need to be familiar with AS9100 REV D or similar Aerospace standards.
