Talent Acquisition Specialist (Temp)

The Opportunity



In this temporary position you will maintain a best in industry talent acquisition program in partnership with the Chief People Officer, Marketing Director, and Practice Leaders. You will be responsible for sourcing talent; identifying and vetting candidate referral sources, building and maintaining relationships with recruiters and other referral sources including colleges; and overseeing the college recruiting program.





Work Location: Hybrid, in-office, or remote



Length: Temporary- expected need September through late December 2022/early January 2023



Preferred Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week





The qualified candidate will:




  • Partner with hiring managers and leaders to verify staffing needs and update job postings

  • Lead the strategic search process, and conduct full life cycle recruiting for positions in MN, TX, and remote talent

  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources and monitor progress on a weekly basis

  • Provide dashboard reports of activity and results to identify opportunities to enhance our programs

  • Collect talent acquisition information on key competitors to benchmark our staffing processes

  • Lead creative sourcing initiatives in collaboration with others including: campaigns, diversity outreach, internal promotion & development, and employment branding & engagement

  • Participate in the enhancement of employment branding to attract and retain talent

  • Use recruiting tools to improve our selection decisions and the candidate and hiring manager experience

  • Screen candidates through phone, virtual, and/or in-person interviews

  • Participate in and facilitate interview and selection meetings

  • Stay current on the company's organization structure, employment policies, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices

  • Fill open positions at a time to fill ratio at or better than industry standards

  • Coordinate and attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition

  • Perform other special projects as assigned

Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

  • Additional recruiting training or certification preferred

  • 5 years recent sourcing experience using social media

  • Lifecycle recruiting experience in engineering

  • Experience building successful talent acquisition programs and employment branding

  • Intermediate skill using Microsoft Office Suite

  • Familiar with ATS (applicant tracking systems)

  • Preference for candidates with experience in developing or delivering interview skills training
