HR Advisor

OVERVIEW

Are you in a position to be looking for a new HR Advisory role or are you looking to take the next step in your HR career.

In this role you will be providing proactive, effective, efficient, HR support service to the employees. You’ll work closely with HR colleagues to contribute to the development of the HR function and to the ongoing success of the business. This role will have the opportunity for you to delvelop your HR skills.

You will be fully office based to partner with the employees as well as working as part of a friendly & supportive team of 4.

THE ROLE

  • Work closely with line managers providing them with guidance, coaching and support on the full range of HR activities (including policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, absence management, performance management) in order to ensure a consistent and fair approach to people management.
  • Monitor departmental KPI's an make recommendations to the HR Business Partner where action is required.
  • Support and manage investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters in conjunction with the relevant line manager.
  • Lead and coordinate recruitment processes for the site, including onboarding and induction.
  • Support the development of first line managers and their core people skills including recruitment, induction and performance management.
  • Monitor sickness and absence levels and make recommendations.
  • Provide administration cover where required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in HR
  • Experience of managing HR processes
  • Tenacious and confident
  • Effective communicator, able to communicate effectively and professionally with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Skilled in the development of administrative systems and the use of databases and spreadsheets
