The Job:
This role sits within the Wills and Probate and Court of Protection team supporting fee earners with general legal secretarial support on a day-to-day basis specifically possessing highly accurate touch-typing skills. This role is approximately 50% audio typing and 50% secretarial support.

Key Responsibilities

  • General secretarial duties such as preparation of correspondence, dealing with incoming and outgoing post, filing, archiving, photocopying, printing, drafting documents, performing detailed diary management
  • Accurate touch-typing with experience of audio typing and word processing
  • Communicating with clients over the phone and over email to keep them appraised of progress
  • Managing matters on case management system from opening a matter to final billing as well as keeping databases updated.

The Person:

  • Previous secretarial experience required, not necessarily legal
  • Highly accurate touch typist
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel will be essential
  • An organised, positive individual with a can-do attitude that is able to multitask

The Salary £22,000 - £27,000
The Hours: Monday to Friday 9am 5.30pm (1 hour for lunch)
