General Manager

YOUR ROLE

Our operation in Dartford has an exciting opportunity for an innovative and customer centric General Manager with a successful track record of service delivery, safety, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and people development.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Head of Sustainable Logistics, you will be the onsite lead responsible for all aspects of budget creation and allocation, service level delivery and client relationship management. Therefore, your change management and continuous improvement skills will be second to none as you will lead various optimization projects to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.

You will also be responsible for driving a high-performance culture on all sites ensuring financial, operational and HSEQ targets are met at all times and implement strategies to form a management team that creates, sustains and embeds a culture of employee engagement as well as strong development and succession plans.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate will have significant operational management and leadership experience ideally within a fast-paced 3PL environment. You will be able to demonstrable experience of building and developing exceptional client relationships and possess strong people management skills with the ability to create a high-performance culture through coaching and development whilst implementing sustainable improvements to drive business performance.

Strong commercial acumen with experience of leading and motivating diverse teams are also critical requirements for this role.
