As a TCAD Manager at Micron Hyderabad, your primary responsibility will be to manage and drive TCAD projects contributing to the memory technology development.
You will be driving a variety of TCAD modeling projects (in DRAM, NAND, and Emerging Memory. Collaborating with various global teams to innovate and solve complex problems for next generation memory technologies and execute and coordinate effective actions to enable the projects to hit key milestones and timelines.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:
Manage execution of projects on-time and at the highest quality to meet our development timelines. Hire, develop and retain a strong team in various device technology areas Manage resources, effectively utilize software licenses to deliver projects on time in a cost-effective manner.

Development of TCAD team through strong mentorship & leadership skills drive innovation and creative mindset in problem solving provide mentorship and leadership to all TCAD engineers (particularly for new hires) to drive projects, debug and troubleshoot.

Have a good understanding of various process technologies under development in TD understand TD cross functional teams and various projects from business units, understand TCAD applications in various area, needs, requirements and execution on them effectively.

Engage with process integration (PI), process development, design, and product teams to explore applications of TCAD tools. Provide updates to key leaders in these teams to increase visibility of work done by team members in this area.

Summarize complex problems, deriving and explaining actions taken to address them define sub-milestones for projects and work to achieve the targets and timelines with the team. Maintain and enforce best communication between TCAD and PI, Process development and Design teams.

Timely documentation of all TCAD activities. Have sounds management skills applicable in TD, have effective communication skills to present key finding, projects updates to peers and management teams.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform regular check-ins with leaders, skip level mtgs - set appropriate goals, objectives, and performance plans.
Provide periodic updates to team, managers and executives on key projects, accomplishments, and progress in milestones.
Communicate latest site/dept/company updates to team and team members in the group.
Champion Micron culture/values including diversity and inclusion initiatives.
A solid understanding of state-of-the-art logic or memory process fabrication technologies. Thorough understanding of semiconductor device physics, CMOS process and VLSI.

Expert in major commercial TCAD tools and structural geometry modeling tools. At least 7-year hand-on experience in the major commercial TCAD tools covering device, process, structural geometry, and stress modeling.

Thorough understanding of the TCAD device/process model physics, details, and calibration parameters. Able to develop PMI (Physical Model Interface) code to extend the current TCAD models' capability.

10+ years' experience in semiconductor CMOS or memory industry. Familiar with advanced CMOS devices (such as High-k Metal Gate, FinFET, Nanosheet devices) physics, reliability, and process integration flow.

Familiar with electrical device characterization and design of test structures. Knowledge in sub-20nm DRAM memory and/or 3DNAND process flow is a plus.
Ability to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve a goal. Sound communication abilities, and requirements to be an effective team player.
Willing to work with other remote teams in the early morning or late evening, as needed.
Familiar with Linux and Tcl/Python scripts to manage TCAD licenses usages and metrics.
MS/MTech/PhD in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics, Applied Physics.
