Consultant [Workforce Management]

Essential capabilities

  • Strong understanding of Aspect, AOM and Tableau systems with a focus on report development
  • Excellent knowledge of software and spreadsheet applications (Excel, Access, SQL)
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply insights and recommendations
  • Ability to communicate complex information in a neutral and professional manner

What are the tasks or activities which this role is responsible each day

  • Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified (risk accountability forms part of all roles, as everyone is responsible for managing risk and compliance).
  • To be responsible for the management and control of workflow processes within the function, recommending/implementing changes as required and deploying resources to maximum advantage (matching staff to volume), to ensure optimal staffing levels and the most cost-effective use of resources.
  • To develop productive working relationships with internal stakeholders serviced by the operational/support unit, ensuring the speedy resolution of any service issues through reporting staff or personally, as required and to gather required information for forecasting accuracy
  • Manage end to end Planning and Forecasting processes. Recommending/ implementing changes as required and deploying resources to maximum advantage (matching staff to volume) in order to ensure optimal staffing levels and the most cost-effective use of resources. Ensuring that the business has enough Supply to meet Demand to help deliver on wider strategic objectives. This also includes elements of reporting.
  • To analyse internal and external industry trends, competitive threats and expansion opportunities to drive workforce strategies and decisions to develop large, complex forecasts and interval shrinkage plans that improve the customers experience.
