Sales Account Manager
Our team in Shah Alam currently has an opening for a Sales Account Manager
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieve or exceed annual agreed sales budget and margin objectives for the assigned territory while maintaining expenses within assigned budget guidelines.
Responsible to maintain an existing account base as well as identify and develop growth opportunities to expand market coverage as well as market penetration.
Ensure a healthy terms of payment by the customers.
Involves in implementing and monitoring the marketing plan. Carry out market surveys as agreed with the manager to formulate plans, evaluate market conditions and recommend appropriate next steps to maximize sales output.
Keep abreast of market activities and provide information on competitors' activities and industry outlook.
Work with the assigned customer service representative and technical resources (internal and external) to ensure a level of service that meets customers’ requirements.
Establish strong business relationships with existing customer base and develop value relationships with potential clients to expand business.
Ensure all activities are conducted with health, safety, quality and environment management systems as well as corporate and local policies.
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Science or any related field.
At least 3-5 years' sales experience in industrial chemicals and solvent industry.
Excellent business / commercial acumen.
Good interpersonal skill and customer oriented.
Aggressive and result driven.
Strong market network and good knowledge of the solvent industry practices and outlook.
Willing to travel.
