Business Development Manager - NHS/Healthcare

Globe Locums is recognsied across the UK of one of the NHS’s leading suppliers of locum staff and human capital & talent solutions. We are multiple framework placed as well as ISO accredited.

Post Covid, the demand on the NHS is at an all-time high with the backlog of surgical & interventional procedures at a critical point. This in turn has presented additional opportunities for us to create and deliver innovative and pioneering staffing solutions.

We are now looking for at least two Business Development Managers to help support the strategic growth of our business delivering best in class human capital products to the NHS.

Very much a strategic role, you will be working alongside our head of Business Development and the COO, identifying key stakeholders across UK wide NHS Trusts. You will be showcasing how our staffing products & solutions enable hospitals to tackle backlogs and patient care in a safe, timely and efficient way.

Your skills and experience will include;

  • Sales experience into the Public Sector eg NHS, Local Authorities, Local Government, Councils etc
  • Sound knowledge of Frameworks/Public Sector proposals/Tenders etc
  • A client first approach with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Demonstrable experience of solution/consultative selling
  • Solid experience of selling to and working with C suite points of contact and closing projects between £2-£5 million.
  • Experience in winning new clients as well as growing and developing existing customers
  • Very proactive and comfortable face to face as much as VC/phone
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Patient when needed, assertive where appropriate and ultimately a closer

Salary will be based on experience but between £35-£50,000pa. OTE will be somewhere between £70-£100,000pa
