Accounts Payable Assistant

£ 20,000 - £ 22,000 | North Bristol | Hybrid

Purpose of the role:

  • To provide a professional and efficient accounts payable service to ensure suppliers are paid accurately and promptly, and to maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and internal and external customers.
  • Input supplier invoices
  • Answer supplier queries accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure correct authorisation is received for all invoices
  • To reconcile supplier statements to ensure system and payment accuracy
  • Rectify any payment errors
  • To ensure correct payment authorisation is received in a timely manner
  • To ensure accurate remittances are sent to suppliers in a timely manner

What were looking for:

  • Computer literate, in particular Excel
  • Demonstrable experience of inputting bulk data accurately and efficiently
  • Customer service experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Team working
