Automotive Service Advisor


VAGTechnik Malaysia - Largest independent 2S center for Audi Volkswagen brand in Malaysia.

Goals
Achieve good customer satisfaction by properly and timely complete all repair orders
Carry out service and repairs with zero return jobs
Achieve monthly productivity target as set by the Branch Director
Responsibilities:
Greeting customers and working with customers to determine their vehicle issues and problems, provide technical explanation and proceed with service work
Working with team leader / mechanic to convey the customers' concerns with accurate repair descriptions.
Consulting with team leader / mechanic regarding necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive repairs.
Using your knowledge of our products and services to sell or provide in-depth information about available parts and service options to customers.
Prepare estimation cost of repair works and explain to customers regarding the work done and cost of repair.
Answering questions about service outcomes and scheduling and booking appointments, vehicle drop-off.
Providing customers with information and advice on warranty protections, potential cost savings.
Liaising with team leader / mechanic about parts ordering and ensuring parts are available when needed.
Managing and overseeing the repair workflow and schedule.
Actively communicate to customers on car repair status and advise them about service changes or car pick-up times.
Maintaining positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
Ensuring all details on services rendered and costs are related to customers and processing their payments.
Manage customer complaints and escalate to reporting manager

Requirements:
A strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry.
Proficiency with industry-specific software such as EPC - Electronic Part Catalogue, Microsoft Office
Good command of written and spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Strong organizational, decision making, and problem solving skills.
The ability to communicate with mechanics, customers, and management.
Able to work with minimum supervision, confident, dynamic and customer oriented attitude
