Warehouse and Logistics Manager

As the Warehouse and Logistics Manager taking care of East Malaysia supply operations, you will report to the director-in-charge and coordinate, organise, and oversee all activities involved in the warehousing, acquisition, and shipment of hardware and plumbing materials to the state of Sabah and Sarawak.

Overall in-charge of the delivery and receiving of goods and to plan & organize storage and retrieval of hardware and plumbing materials for container shipment/transhipment to East Malaysia.
Manage large-scale warehouses and monitor inventory levels and movements, liaisons with internal department and external parties on inventory and supply-chain issues.
Provide accurate inventory report on a timely basis and to conduct the stocks-count as required in addition to annual or semi-annual stock count.
Co-ordinate to ensure continuous updating of stock codes and balances in the ERP system
Daily communication with customers, including the handling of customers' complaints
Liaise with forwarding agents on cargo arrival and container loading planning
Ensure all material handling equipment are properly and regularly maintained and in compliance with occupational safety guidelines.
Ensure sustainable operations and personnel safety and well-being at all times in the warehouse and loading areas.
Presenting monthly operations report to the director and the Group Management.
Relevant Diploma/Degree or Professional qualification with at least 10 years of experience in warehousing & logistics in a fast-moving & high volume environment.
Result-oriented with good analytical mind to ensure the warehouse, picking, packing and loading into containers are run in the most effective and efficient manner without much bottleneck
Capable of organizing and managing more than 20 personnel in the warehouse and operations department.
Able to meet container loading and custom documentation deadlines for on-time shipment, manage efficient receiving, storing and retrieval of hardware and plumbing supplies bound for East Malaysia market.
Working knowledge of ERP/computerized system or warehouse management system, M365 collaborative projects and MS-Office.
Proven trustworthiness, integrity, resourcefulness and experience in taking charge and running supply chain management.
Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and local dialects.
