Account Manager

IBS Intelligence is looking for an Account Manager for our Mumbai office location, to manage the firm’s business development efforts with banks, consulting firms, technology firms, and PE/VC funds in India. The primary role of this individual will be to drive renewal business and up-sell and cross-sell to IBSI subscribers in the region.


Responsibilities

  • Meet monthly/quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Responsible for driving renewal business and meeting revenue targets within an assigned geography
  • Manage the opportunity pipeline from week to week, providing accurate and timely updates to Management on progress and outlook
  • Qualify Customers for potential up-sell opportunities of research services
  • Maintain a strong understanding of current and new products, as well as promotions
  • Ensure proper customer data is collected and input into the database
  • Develop and execute strategy for achievement of business results tied to overall sales strategy
  • Should have the ability of consultative selling & proven skills of sales channel, pipeline management
  • Identifying selling opportunities and qualifying leads. Mapping customer needs/requirements in Indian markets to the relevant research assistance
  • Assist the IBS Intelligence business head in the achievement of overall team targets through actively seeking out new sales opportunities by means of cold calling, setting up meetings, and networking
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
  • Ability to demonstrate appropriate presentations on products effectively / services
  • Ability to negotiate/close deals and execution of the services. Handle customer complaints & provide up to date customer service
  • Collaborate & work as a team player to achieve better results


Qualification and Relevant Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Total Work experience of 6-8 years
  • With 3-4 years in Contract Renewal, Sales, Inside Sales and/or Customer facing role
