Our work depends on a Computer Programmer III joining our team to support the Center for Disease Control (CDC) activities at Atlanta, GA.
At GDIT, we put our people first. As a Tester supporting the CDC, you will be trusted to work on Software Test and QA for web-based and mobile systems. In this role, a typical day will include:
Design and implement testing plans for IT Modernization effort.
Identify test procedures and scenarios for the quality control of IT/Software
Provide cross functional support to help resolve defects and errors of IT products
Assesses performance of IT products and services to ensure they meet established quality standards
Collect and communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to various IT teams
Resolve product issues and track progress. Liaise with other IT functions when needed
Identify areas for improvement to enhance the product's efficiency
Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meet end-user expectations
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology and trends in IT quality assurance
Use Agile and Scrum methodologies
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Social Science.
Must have experience in developing, editing & producing technical and graphic documentation for information technology systems.
2 years of software test/QA experience is preferred.
Ability to pass a government security investigation for Public Trust
