Platinum Support TechLocation:Onsite w/some travel within Phoenix metro areaRate:$25-27/hr, DOE4-month contract


  • Provide executive-level technology expertise for executive leadership to ensure that all aspects of executives applications, equipment (including PC and MAC operations), and internet support are performing at optimal levels.

  • Provide appropriate software, hardware, teleconferencing, and telephony training as necessary. Collaborate with the Asset Management team to order new or replacement hardware.

  • Consult with executives to understand their specific technology needs based on their home work environment, including personal use by them and/or family members; determine appropriate hardware, software and internet solutions.

  • Troubleshoot and perform any necessary research regarding any issues or difficulties being experienced and rectify in an expeditious manner to minimize disruption for executives. Interface with various IT departments, as necessary, to analyze and resolve technical issues; provide access and authorization for various systems and/or applications, ensuring appropriate security protocols are followed.

  • Provide technology expertise and support for leadership events such as the Leadership Broadcast, Town Halls held by various executives, off-site leadership conferences and meetings, and graduations as requested.

  • Ensure choice of technology and platforms supports seamless participation and optimal user experience for all participants, whether on-site, remote, on camera or audio only.

  • Evaluate existing applications and systems used by executives and the broader University population; present research findings and recommendations to management..

  • Participate in the planning, coordination and implementation/maintenance of technology support activities to ensure all requirements for executive support are accounted for and able to be supported without interruption; maintain an adequate spare parts inventory of systems, subsystems and component parts used for repair work.

  • Communicate learnings and findings about hardware and/or software issues, results of troubleshooting and other technology-related matters so End User Services team can proactively and efficiently resolve similar issues with technology used by all University employees.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.


  • Bachelors degree in information technology or related field, and 3 years of personal computer technical experience, including advanced troubleshooting for PC and MAC, microcomputer environments, network operations and telecommunications; OR

  • High School Diploma and 5 years of personal computer technical experience, including advanced troubleshooting for PC and MAC, microcomputer environments, network operations and telecommunications


  • One or more courses in Core Microsoft Technologies education, preferably related to O365 applications

  • Ability to relay moderately complex technical information to a non-technical executive and an ability to interact effectively with end users understand and resolve all technology related issues

  • Personal presence and work style to effectively and efficiently work with senior level executives in managing all technology requirements for office and meeting/conference-related use


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.

  • 2 years of online writing experience, preferably at an advertising agency.
