The ideal candidate will be digital savvy, a strong writer and editor, detail oriented, globally minded, empathetic and collegial, and utilize digital communications skills to build the companys brand among clients, prospects and talent.

A bit about you

You have strong internship or 1-3 years of work experience, project management and digital campaign skills. You are eager to work in content creation and production across earned, owned and paid media, as well as SEO, research and analytics to build the global APCO Worldwide brand. You are curious about what makes things work, are self-driven and are not afraid to experiment and even fail as you help drive projects and campaigns forward.

Primary Duties:

Assist with digital marketing and communication activities, including:

  • Create, manage and amplify digital campaigns to engage clients, colleagues and prospects
  • Conduct desk research using advanced digital platforms
  • Help develop and publish content to website and digital properties
  • Proofread thought leadership documents
  • Analyze activity and contribute to activity reports
  • Implement SEO strategy and recommendations
  • Drive SEM and paid social campaigns

Additional Duties:

Assist with marketing communication activities including:

  • Additional responsibilities include supporting special projects and traditional marketing programs for the company
  • Assist in the creation and tracking of project plans and content calendars
  • Publish and manage web content
  • Draft and format mass e-mail campaigns and event landing pages


Qualified candidates will have a BA/BS in a related field and internships or other equivalent experience in marketing, strong technical, research, written and oral communication skills and the ability to proactively and thoughtfully support the activities of the global marketing and communication team. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with AP Style, content management (CMS), monitoring programs and web analytics. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is also required. A working knowledge of Photoshop, Premiere and other Adobe products is also desired.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands for this position are moderate. Much of the work is performed in an office setting. Work involves a high activity level and pace, competing time demands, and interaction with others. Essential tasks require the use of keyboarding, phone, video equipment and lighting, and other office equipment usage. May require working evenings and weekends, and extended hours to accomplish assigned work.International travel may be required. Must have the ability to perform the essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
