Global Business Development Manager Supply Chain Transformation

This role can be remote US East coast - travel required as necessary.

We are looking for a smart, talented, and experienced business development professional to work on the demand creation GTM Sales team. In your role as global Business Development Manager you will lead go-to-market activities in Supply Chain Transformation, collaborate with our sales teams on strategic opportunities and develop the future of our EMS capabilities with our product teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

Go to Market & Enablement: Be the Celonis EMS Business Process portfolio expert in Supply Chain Transformation and work with the industry's most respected sales team to develop sales plays and go-to-market programs that help drive pipeline, find new buyers, and cross-sell into existing accounts centered around Supply Chain Transformation.

Product positioning and messaging: Collaborate with Product Marketing and Product Management, Solution Engineering, Partners, Sales Leaders, and the Value Organization to develop a compelling narrative and value proposition for Supply Chain Transformation. Work cross-functionality with the team that builds all collateral (website, print, videos, etc.) to ensure external marketing content is also well positioned to help sellers sell.

Demand generation/ New Logos : Work with our internal demand gen teams to hone the strategy and marketing programs that drive demand. Be proactive in recognizing where the business may need marketing support and the effective levers to pull

Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively and often to ensure all stakeholders across product, sales, marketing, customer success are aligned in a highly matrixed organization.

Sales Team Development and Coaching: Field Sales, Inside Sales, and Business Development Representatives

Your Impact:
  • Motivate sales teams to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results, and creative incentives
  • Regularly report on Team/Individual Results - Lead Quantity, Quality, Revenue
  • Work closely with Marketing on defining Campaign follow-up and reporting
  • Work closely with Sales Managers and Reps to ensure Lead Quality/Quantity and proper follow-up
  • Work closely with Operations to make recommendations on process improvements
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of Process, Efficiency, Productivity

Position Requirements:
  • In depth knowledge of global enterprise Supply Chain processes and systems
  • Experience in leading Supply ChainTransformation projects (project management, business process redesign, configuration...)
  • Driving analysis and demonstrated experience in synthesizing and translating market needs into compelling sales programs, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement
  • Ability to partner closely with our sales organization to identify industry trends and repeatable sales patterns
  • Sales Leadership DNA, proven ability to excite and lead while working in a matrixed environment
  • Proven experience launching new products and growing them to a mature business through expansion
  • Proven ability to link performance to overall business objectives
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in business process discussions
  • Strong ability to influence and work cross-functionally
  • Ability to deliver results in global, matrix environments comprised of internal and external stakeholders
  • High energy, charismatic, innovative, creative individual

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally ~15% of the time
