We are seeking for a Research Engineer to join our Research Program. Candidates should be able to run commercial, as well as develop and run novel, in-house analytical software for a variety of clinical applications. Software languages include MATLAB, C++ and Python. Maintain an organized, state of the art database of EEG, ECG, video, MRI, PET and other physiological recordings, as well as algorithms and results from linear modelling, non-linear dynamics, network connectivity measures and a variety of other quantitative analytical methods including machine learning . Assist with the transfer of data from the clinical servers to the Brain Dynamics Lab's research servers and ensure data de-identification and their subsequent storage in an accurate and user-friendly manner.
Sound knowledge of electrophysiology recording techniques and digital processing of biological signals (EEG, ECG)
General understanding of medical imaging recording techniques and analysis (MRI, fMRI, PET, SPECT,CT).
Strong background in human physiology.
Familiarity with Microsoft office products.
Advanced experience with MATLAB, Python, C++.
Experience with management of databases with clinical research data
Experience with hardware and software development and their integration will be a plus.
Experience with creation and update of websites will be a plus
Experience in biomedical engineering or related field required.
Two (2) years experience in electrical, biomedical, or mechanical engineering; advanced mathematics or physics; statistics; or related field preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products preferred.
Advanced experience with MATLAB, Python, C++.
