Americas Commercial Finance Analyst

This role is part of the Materials & Structural Analysis Division (MSD), where you will support the Americas Commercial Organization. This includes the Nanoport, Sales Development, Field Sales, and Sales Operations. You will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager Americas Commercial Finance.

As the Americas commercial finance analyst, you will be instrumental in delivering standardized, timely, and reliable data-driven insights, enabling the commercial organization to focus on value-added analysis and decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing financial planning (Annual Operating Plan, Forecast, Actuals) of cost of organization, e.g. headcount planning, capital expenditures, T&E, and other operational expenditures

  • Providing insights & analytics into product pipeline, bookings, and sales deal structures regarding risk & opportunities, margin, billing & payment terms

  • Drive organizational & process effectiveness, including supporting Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives

  • Prepare management reporting for product bookings, revenue per country & ad hoc requests

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or related fields

  • Prior experience in financial planning & analysis and/or controlling

  • Excellent command of (advanced) Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning systems (e.g. experience with CMR, Hyperion, and/or PowerBI highly valuable)

  • 3+ years of professional experience in financial planning & analysis, and/or controlling, commercial operations, or related field

  • Demonstrated experience partnering with business leaders to drive results
