Sr. Financial Systems Analyst

Summary of Duties

CGH Technologies, Inc. (CGH) is a business solutions firm, specializing in Data Management, Software Engineering, and Business Intelligence solutions. Located within the Washington corridor, CGH has worked successfully with Government, Commercial and International sectors, providing management consulting, software development and facilities/infrastructure design, maintenance and program management support of large, complex operational environments. CGH has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Sr. Financial Systems Analyst to join the CGH Team.



  • Plans, designs, develops, tests, coordinates, and implements tools and processes to streamline financial reporting, analysis, and proposal development.
  • Revises existing programs, systems, and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, and storage. Evaluates user requirements with existing and/or projected computer capabilities.
  • Establishes program and data parameters and formats. Coordinates symbolic statements of problems into appropriate specifications for coding computer systems, identifying functions to be programmed, information processing techniques used, and data representation.
  • Prepares documentation, conducts program tests and corrects program errors.
  • Analyzes programming system's capabilities to resolve questions of program standards, output requirements, input data acquisition, and programming techniques and controls.
  • Develops policies, procedures and work instructions.
  • Will initially focus on developing databases to handle the large volume of data and create custom forms and reports to support user interaction.


Number of Years Experience Required:

  • 5 years related experience required.

Minimum Education and Certifications Required:

  • BS/BA Finance or related field.

Technical Skills Required:

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook at minimum).
  • Experience with Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of program languages and PC software.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • U.S. Citizen or person with valid U.S. Work Visa who has lived in the U.S. for three or more years.
  • Ability to identify concerns, suggest solutions and follow through independently.
  • Demonstrate ability to take ownership of role and responsibilitiesMeaningful written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with high-level management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to prepare presentations and present to various levels of management.
  • High level math and financial analysis skills.
  • Meaningful problem solving techniques and demonstrated ability to autonomously push actions to closure.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills a must.
  • Must be highly organized, reliable and have excellent time management skills.
  • Must be a team player with a proactive work style.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear and use a computer/keyboard/mouse for several hours on a daily basis.
  • May require occasional light lifting of up to 10 pounds.
