Marketing Analytics & Operations Manager

The Marketing Analytics & Operations manager is the business partner to Blend's Chief Marketing Officer and the Head of Demand Generation, and manages a small team of analysts. The role reports into Blend's Revenue Operations function, which includes analytics and operations business partners for all of Blend's GTM teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading the process to define the Marketing Operations vision, strategy and roadmap to enable tracking and reporting on funnel performance across stages, velocity, and data sources. This role sits at the intersection of the Marketing, Insights, and Operations and will be charged with aligning the efforts of all key stakeholders and connecting the dots cross functionally.

Beyond the Marketing Analytics & Operations team, Blend's Revenue Operations group also includes Sales Analytics & Operations, Customer Success Analytics & Operations, Business Systems & Data, Enablement, and cross-functional Project Management teams.

How you'll contribute:
  • Own the lead to sales life cycle and all of the ground rules for lead scoring, lead routing, and lifecycle processes between Marketo and Salesforce to accelerate funnel progression, and optimize customer acquisition and conversion points
  • Align closely with Marketing leadership and systems teams to drive the success of key transformation projects that enable full-funnel marketing reporting, marketing goal reporting and pipeline tracking.
  • Assess marketing ROI to track efficacy of various programs and optimize future investments and budgeting processes
  • Own the strategy for marketing data including data structure and governance
  • Connect and align Marketing goals with Sales, in order to flag areas of opportunity, progress to marketing goals, and ensure process alignment for lead routing and ownership of marketing and sales across the funnel
  • Increase understanding of marketing ROI so we can track to what extent our efforts impact pipeline
  • Define requirements to build out marketing infrastructure and tools to scale campaign efficiency
  • Own Marketo from a management, but not implementation perspective. Marketo administration is owned by the RevOps Systems team.
  • Help to optimize the marketing tech stack and integration with Salesforce and other systems

Who you are:
  • 8 to 10 years of related experience in a marketing operations function
  • Data skills (Excel and SQL mandatory, Python and R a bonus)
  • Proficiency in marketing automation systems and integrating those systems with other technologies
  • Ability to lead or manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of digital measurement strategies and solutions
  • Knowledge of MarTech and discrete platforms (i.e. CDP, Ad Server, DSPs, Analytics Tools, ESP), as well as how they relate to functions within the org such as CMS, CRM, & Analytics tech stack, etc.
  • Knowledge of overall media processes and adtech across multiple channels, i.e. paid social, paid search, display, etc.
  • Operations-minded, with experience in hands-on execution of cross-channel strategies
  • Proven capability to manage and execute cross-functionally in a matrix environment
  • Creative and strategic thinker who can proactively identify opportunities for growth
