This role will be responsible for the technology, operations and governance of the Identity and Access Management program. This is an active, hands-on role, responsible for end-end management, planning, design, development, and the support of the identity and access management function and all its components including oversight to the IGA and PAM program, daily operations, ticket resolutions, project planning, delivery, client interaction, execution, monitoring, and people management.
Manage IAM Operational tasks to streamline and centralize the Identity and Access Management (IAM) function
Execute on IAM vision and strategic roadmap, including governance and oversight.
Manage and Administer On/Off Boarding, Provisioning, User Management, Automation task status, Audits and other IAM related tasks.
Provide oversight to the IGA, Access management and PAM program at R1.
Provide knowledge and act as a subject matter expert on key principles of (IAM) with an in-depth knowledge in the areas of authentication and authorization systems, identity lifecycle management, and identity governance.
Generate solutions and policies in support of the Identity Lifecycle Management and Identity Governance, PAM, MFA for the company and consumers.
Provide leadership governance to IAM solution and tools to manage R1s expanding cloud identities and SaaS application footprints (experience implementing technologies such as SailPoint, Thycotic, Okta, Microsoft etc.)
Centrally manages user security and entitlement reviews and certifications, as well as interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage team of Support analysts and help in trouble shooting and issue resolutions.
Manages SLAs and maintains effective partnerships with teams, vendors, managers, leaders, and stakeholders.
Participate in triage and outage calls, work with the team to come up with root cause analysis, actively engage in incidents raised and escalation to vendor (as needed).
Proactively works with other cross functional teams within the company to ensure resolution of tickets while providing best user experience.
Assist in analyzing potential processes and tools to enhance security and identity posture of the company.
Help in tracking teams productivity and prepare dashboards, status reports and metrics.
Assist in developing and communicating audience appropriate information to technical, non-technical, management, and executive audiences.
Help in design, implementation, and operation of enterprise information security service capabilities.
Advise teams on IAM-related risks and security posture.
Create IAM quality focused deliverables and processes, adhering to R1 standards of quality, reliability, and confidentiality.
Be the point person for the technology and business teams.
Be effective people leader who can guide, coach, and motivate team members and develop career path and guidance for the team.
Help solve team conflicts and devise effective collaboration strategies.
Skills and Experience:
12+ years of experience in IT and related technology field
Experience in developing and running multiyear, complex technology initiatives and programs.
Experience in managing relationships with Product and Services vendors.
Create and maintain enterprise relationships with internal and external teams/partners.
Good time management, communication, presentation skills
Effective management of diverse and global teams
Knowledge of federated identity systems, directory services, role-based access control, SSO, MFA & related identity standards (e.g., SAML, OAUTH Open ID Connect) etc.
Knowledge of Active Directory concepts, including users, computers, groups, policies, Cloud Infrastructure, Database, and Identity technical concepts.
Familiarity with IAM and PAM tools such as Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, Centrify etc.
Knowledge of Agile processes and workflows
Experience with Information Security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, SOC2, Hi Trust etc.
Experience with Risk Management and Information Security strategy, tools, and technologies
Experience in managing Cloud identities and implementing secure SSO capabilities.
Experience in creating and managing tickets in ServiceNow and ITSM processes
Good understanding of Dev Ops concepts
This role will be required to work in flexible shift timings supporting US business hours.
Bachelors/Masters Degree or related technology degree
Certifications preferred PMP, ITIL, Identity Certifications
CISSP, CISM, and/or International Information System Security Certification Consortium certification is a plus.
