Overview of Job Function:
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for forecasting and analysis primarily related to the Fraud and Security Solutions (FSS) business, assisting in the support of the FSS General Manager and leadership team throughout the annual budget and periodic forecast processes. Areas of focus include providing assistance to the Director, FSS Business Finance for financial reporting and analysis of the Business Unit results. This includes assisting in the weekly bookings/revenue forecast process and supporting documents, preparation and presentation of monthly & quarterly financial results to the FSS budget owners, and the preparation of margin analysis related to customer quotes. This position will also be responsible for assisting in supporting the global Operations organization and Supply Chain processes.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
Prepare weekly FSS bookings and revenue reports, along with key supporting documentation.
Assist in analyzing and reporting departmental results, budgets and forecasts, specifically for the FSS organization.
Prepare margin analysis reviews related to FSS opportunities.
Assist in preparing certain key financial metrics for the FSS General Manager and for submission to members of the executive team.
Assist in the review of bookings and revenue trends by product and customer.
Assist in partnering with the global operations team to track and monitor supply chain/logistics activity related to the FSS products.
Assist in quarter end close process for the FSS business and global operations team. Responsibilities will include recording journal entries and reviewing financial results for potential required adjustments.
Provide insightful financial analyses that will help drive strategic decisions.
Work closely with and develop strong interfaces with the business finance and accounting teams to ensure that budgeting, forecasting, and expense management requirements are met.
Prepare ad hoc reports as required.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in finance or accounting
Minimum of 3-5 years of finance or accounting experience
Knowledge of financial applications, ERP applications and/or planning applications desirable
Ability and desire to develop necessary knowledge and skills to grow within the Finance organization
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong research and problem-solving skills
Sound work ethic with flexibility to work beyond normal business hours as needed
Ability to adapt to rapid change and think creatively
Strong time management skills with the demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations
Preferred Requirements:
Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, and SalesForce
