Assistant General Manager Hilton Garden Inn Sacramento

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Assistant General Manager to join our Beautiful Hilton Garden Sacramento Airport team. In this role, you would be responsible for supporting the General Manager and property in the overall operation and success of the Hotel. The AGM is responsible as assigned by the General Manager in leading all day-to-day duties of the hotel including food & beverage, front office operation, training, and employee development, delivery of quality customer service, and resolution of guest issues while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. Manages Front Office department assists other departments as needed to ensure a positive guest experience, and upholds and maintains brand standards.


  • Must be highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner and exhibit good judgment
  • Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful and flexible
  • Must have excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends as business needs dictate.
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork

Experience and/or Education:

  • Minimum 3 years of Hotel leadership required
  • Minimum 2 years of Hilton hotel management experience a plus
  • Hilton PMS ONQ highly desirable (hotel property) management systems.
  • Ability to sell concepts and ideas
  • Safety, emergency training, and strong leadership experience
