The Role

The Business Process Analyst will manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational departments within Benefits Account, identify and troubleshoot issues and coordinate with stakeholders for operational improvements. The Business Process Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify insights from the data to define and execute future operational improvements.

  • Develop performance measurement frameworks KPIs, goals, user needs, and benefits which serve as a yardstick for analyzing the performance of Benefits Accounts Operations.

  • Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify performance variance and trouble-shoot issues.

  • Provide support to ongoing efforts related to improving operational performance across several departments by tracking initiatives and running related governance meetings.

  • Coordinate with the members of the operational team and lead projects and meetings to develop agreements and solutions for the challenging problems.

  • Define operational project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget.

  • Interpret, evaluate, and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making.

  • Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes.

  • Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues.

The Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and training.

  • Experience in working with, analyzing, and interpreting data, especially advanced Excel skills including reporting and dashboards.

  • Good understanding of Consumer Directed Accounts and the Operations of Benefits Accounts.

  • Excellent organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, as well as within tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work with large volumes of data, apply statistical tools and models, as well as undertake research to detect trends and isolate essential relevant information for sound decision making.

  • Possess strong communication skills.
