The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for creating and implementing Human Resources practices and initiatives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture which emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, goal attainment, and ongoing development of a superior workforce and Human Resources to all of Tindley Employees.


* Performs staff engagement service functions by answering Employee requests and questions.

* Manages the onboarding process of all new hire employees.

* Responsible for creating and maintaining necessary spreadsheet databases with for Finance, HR, and Reporting purposes.

* Process new hire, status change and termination paperwork.

* Process and coordinate all required paperwork for leave and disability programs.

* Create and implement network wide performance management process for non-teachers.

* Leads the execution of the staff recruitment and interview process.

* Leads exit interview process, files papers and documents into appropriate employee files, Assists or prepares correspondence, prepares, and maintains employee files.

* Responsible and performs all payroll administration functions

* Responsible for processing garnishment paperwork

* Conducts audits of various payroll, benefits or other Human Resources benefit related programs.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills

* Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Human Resources or Organizational Management or 3 years of experience in Human Resources.

* Quality control-the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.

* Adaptability-the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and can deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.

* Dependability-the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.

* Safety and security-the individual actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.

* Follow written and verbal instructions.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required


Candidates must have the ability to identify, define and communicate potential and/or current issues of concern throughout the organization, collect and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and offer solutions. Must be able to serve in a capacity that is sensitive to the seriousness of non-compliance to state and DOL regulations, including but not limited to unethical or inappropriate conduct, intentional violation of Company's policies and procedures, and EEOC violations and to act expeditiously to address and resolve such risk issues before they adversely affect the Company


* Two years of Generalist experience in an office setting required.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office products, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
