Delivery Manager - Contract - Canberra

Job Description Urgent requirement ofDelivery Manager- Contract - Canberra

Requirements

Should support the development of the business case including funding approvals
Able to defining the implementation approach and strategy
Ability to lead and facilitate the planning and implementation of the assigned project deliverables
Manage the allocation of project resources to execute deliverables as required
Monitor and report on project progress and identify and escalate risks and issues where required to ensure project transparency
Develop project documentation and reports to the Program required standard
Liaise with and maintain key internal and external relationships, including liaising with stakeholders on policy, project or operational issues and action items and responding to stakeholder needs and expectations
Take ownership of project scheduling and budget management
Demonstrated experience in a Government setting delivering projects/programs within a modernisation or transformation program of work
Should have 10+ years Project Management experience within a multi-vendor delivery environment
Good experience in delivering high quality written communication including Executive briefings at SES levels
Knowledge of managing complex ICT procurement processes
Knowledge of, or ability to, quickly gain knowledge of Australian electoral law and practice
Strong experience with project methodologies and tools specifically DevOps and MS Project or other industry standards
Very Good Communication Skills
Desirable:

High-level time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple pieces of work according to their importance
Tertiary and/or Professional Qualifications within the Project Management, Business Management or Public Administration sectors Desirable

Oversee and coordinate day to day activities in alignment with the project scope and deliverables

Developing the procurement approach to source and onboard delivery partners to assist in the design, build and operations of the new systems

Duration: 12Monthsand possible extension
