About the role

Responsible for the ongoing management, support and delivery of Workplace Infrastructure Services, incorporating Run, Provisioning & Deployment, Transition & Change, Consumption, Support, Delivery Performance & Quality, Capacity & Continuity, Issue & Risk Management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Represents the services across the organization.
Manages the risk of operating the service.
Understands the end-to-end (E2E) technical service(s) including dependent components and infrastructure.
Serves as the point of escalation (notification) for major incidents.
Accountable for the successful resolution of critical, high, medium and low problems.
Technical governance across service management processes including, incident, problem, change, configuration, capacity, continuity (DR), availability, asset, monitoring and alerting.
Accountable for understanding the required business outcomes for the service and translating those, with input from Business Engagement into Service Improvement Plans - where relevant.
Asset lifecycle planning to ensure that the asset fits with the Groups standards and strategic direction.
Collaborate with 3rd party service providers, project services and service management to ensure high quality and successful transition of all services changes.
Utilise appropriate forums and networks to identify opportunities to leverage asset portfolio capabilities.
Ensure adequate communication, knowledge sharing and issue resolution across delivery and support teams.
Ensure appropriate capacity, risk and security monitoring, disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place across the portfolio.
Ensure appropriate data quality controls are in place across the portfolio.

Your Skills and Experience:

Experience in Microsoft (Wintel) based Workplace Technology and delivery, with a strong background in the practical use, support, deployment and management of medium to large-scale Wintel infrastructures.
Experience in designing, building, managing and administering medium to large scale Wintel desktop and heterogeneous end-point environments (physical, virtual and tablet end points).
Experience with Win7, Win10, Office 365 and Mac based environments.
Strong awareness and understanding of hardware, networks, software technologies and applications.
Relevant industry certifications (MCSE etc.) of equivalent experience.
Strong business communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to remain flexible to deliver business outcomes.
Proven experience in coordinating multiple stakeholders and 3rd parties to deliver successful outcomes in a time sensitive environment.
Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and technology.
Tertiary qualification in a Technology discipline or related field.
