What you will be doing
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Clinical Support Officer at Nepean Hospital working with the Medical Division Team on a part time basis. R>The role of a Clinical Support officer will be to provide timely and accurate administrative transactional services to support the provision of clinical services across the service under the direction of the nursing/midwifery unit manager (N/MUM). Gt;Engage in regular, scheduled and accurate data entry and reporting into HR, finance, purchasing, revenue and speciality data systems (as required) to maintain appropriate record keeping and information exchange e. Timely registration of births to the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages where required. required and approved by the N(M)UM/Manager,maintain ward/unit rosters including approved roster changes, utilising relevant IT systems. Here appropriate, actively participate in data entry activities that relate to patient care requirements to support patients and members of the health care team. Upport and participate in the administrative aspects

Selection Criteria to be addressed

This position is targeted for applicants of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent. Old or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent Excellent communication skills including accurate spelling and comprehension, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels. Emonstrated experience in word processing, spread sheet and database software. Emonstrated ability to organise and prioritise workload and tasks to meet deadlines. Apacity to work under broad supervision in undertaking a diverse range of tasks. Emonstrated ability to perform effectively as a team member in a high pressure, high volume work
