Digital Marketing Specialist - Sem

As the Digital Marketing Specialist (SEM), you will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager (SEM) to drive and optimise a best in class Paid Search approach for Myer as we transition to an in-house managed model. You will ensure business targets are consistently met in terms of revenue and profit growth, return on ad spend as well as a number of other key business objectives.

About the role:
Work with the Digital Marketing Manager SEM, to define and execute the day to day operations of the SEM channel
Perform regular bid management and optimisations to ensure we are meeting business KPIs
Account structure and Google Merchant Centre management
Ad copy and creative management
Managing new campaigns, sales and product launches
Regular reporting and measurement, using data visualisation tools and presenting back to the wider team
Budget management, forecasting and pacing
Test, learn and analyse initiatives constantly to ensure we are constantly improving results and Myer is at the forefront of new developments in SEM
Work with the Google team to drive success of the channel
Liaise with both external and internal stakeholders to drive business understanding of the channel and optimise ways of working
Contributing to other initiatives in the Digital Marketing team in areas such as analytics, tech, creative, campaigns and ad sub
2+ years experience working within SEM, with demonstrable hands-on experience of Google SA360 and/or Google Ads from an operational perspective
Experience working on retail and/or eCommerce SEM accounts
Experience working with Google Shopping as well as Google Merchant Centre
Highly analytical, numerate and driven by data; always asking why and looking to test and learn
An understanding of the broader Digital Marketing landscape
An understanding of measurement and attribution
Experience with Google Analytics or similar platforms such as Adobe Analytics
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Agency experience is desirable, but not essential
