As the Solutions Architect you will lead solution design by ensuring fit for purpose in digitally-enabled clinical operational and project environments (including design, scope and implementation).
What we are looking for:
Proven expertise in the development of architectures for complex IT systems, ensuring consistency with and traceability across specified requirements within enterprise architecture and governance frameworks. (SFIA:
ARCH Level 5)
Ability to evaluate and undertake impact analysis on major architectural options and assess associated risks and issues, ensuring that the solution architecture balances function, service quality and system management requirements. (SFIA:
DESN Level 5)
Ability to promote and ensure the use of solution architecture techniques, methodologies and tools ensuring consistency within the team. (SFIA :
METL Level 5)
High level of expertise and experience in the multiple technology domains to architectural standards, decisions, direction, standardisation and professional advice, including:
Cloud Technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure) and other As-a-Service options.
High level expertise and experience in applying architectural principles in terms of scalability, resiliency, security, cost, automation, and management and monitoring.
Ability to establish and influence positive, strategic partnerships and collaborative working relationships with key senior executive stakeholders and key decision makers both internal and external to Queensland Health. (SFIA:

Effective and strategic influencing)
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities to identify, analyse and resolve technology challenges in response to business and ICT requirements.
Proven expertise in applying solution architecture principles, practices and processes within enterprise architecture, ICT investment and governance frameworks.
