As the E-Commerce Safety Business Partner, you will support the development and implementation of the E-Commerce Safety Plan and Risk Profile leading to improvements in safe performance and culture.
Working nationally, youll partner with the State E-commerce Teams to coach, mentor and guide the business.
What youll be doing
This role will leverage your exceptional stakeholder and influencing skills to passionately deliver a great safety culture within a multi-site business. You will be a trusted expert, providing safety advice to the E-commerce Team to integrate practical safety into decision making and ensure a focus on effective risk reduction.
Other ways you can make an impact:
Drive safety improvement and risk reduction in E-commerce by reviewing and analysing data to provide insight and actions to develop the E-commerce Safety Risk Profile and safety plan
Where system failures have been identified, influence the business to make changes and manage these changes from their inception to roll out
Develop, implement, and manage safety training programmes which factor in national standards, compliance, and safety measures
Develop, implement, and manage safety management system procedures, forms and tools addressing key operational risks
Good things youll need
We are looking for a safety professional with proven experience, knowledge and skills in Work Health and Safety, Environment, Risk Management, Fleet Safety and/or Food Safety. You have proven success delivering results in a fast paced and dynamic business.
Youll also need:
Proven coaching skills of business teams and leaders with the capability to drive behavioural change
Clear demonstration of ability to incorporate safety requirements while considering commercially viable and practical solutions
demonstrated experience in a similar advisor/business partner position across a multi-site business
Qualification in ergonomics or engineering or related discipline highly desirable
Strong stakeholder management and highly developed influencing skills
Ability to operate under pressure and with autonomy making risk-based decisions to drive performance improvement
Highest calibre of communication skills and strong records management skills under quality management system
Degree/post graduate qualification in health and safety or related discipline and/or at least 3+ years of experience in managing risk and providing practical guidance to businesses on implementation
