Product Manager - Advanced Technology

Senior Product Manager Advanced Technology

Synchron is developing products that convert raw neural signals into impactful, easy-to-use experiences.

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to help define the future of Synchron products on our Advanced Technology team, based in Melbourne. You will work cross-functionally to guide products from concept to reality by connecting our revolutionary technology with our strategic goals. You will work with scientists, engineers, researchers, clinicians, and patients to deliver wholly novel life altering technologies to market.

Responsibilities

High level: Partner with Neuroscience, Engineering, Research, Design, Clinical, and Marketing teams to develop future generation products in our Melbourne Office

Partner with leadership to set the long-term vision of our neuroprosthetics, neurodiagnostics, and neuromodulation product verticals

Work with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and own User Needsfor complex userlandscapes for each product line
Lead UI/UX definition and design and support development of System and Subsystem Requirements across products

Develop roadmaps and milestones through proof-of-concept and first-in-human trials, and manage the transition to the US-based R&D team for commercialization

Establish and track standardized product metrics for each phase of development

Minimal Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Business/Systems Analytics or related field

5+ years in a product role at a medical device, neurotechnology, or biotechnology company managing hardware & software products

Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and deliver on complex projects with aggressive timelines

Proven track record of clear, concise communication (verbal, written, presentation) with collaborators and company leadership
Proactive, motivated, efficient individual with demonstrated interest in the BCI/neural interface space

Experience in at least one of the following areas: regulated medical devices, reimbursement pathways, designing products for patients with disabilities and clinicians

Preferred Qualifications

Master's or PhD in related field
Experiencewith neuromodulation or neuromonitoring products

Experience in two or more of the following areas: working with and/or designing for patients with disabilities and caregivers, working with clinicians and physicians, reimbursement pathways for private and public health insurance companies, Class II or Class III medical devices

Experience delivering novel technologies to market
