About The Opportunity
As a Collections Officer, this role will see you utilise your customer service and negotiation skills as you contact customers with outstanding matters via telephone. You will need to clearly comprehend the customer's key issues and effectively personalise each conversation in order to drive a satisfactory outcome. We pride ourselves on providing first call resolution, so understanding the customer and catering your conversation to their needs is very important.
Duties
As a Collections Officer, you will be making outbound calls regarding specific collections campaigns. Your role will involve educating the customer on their rights and legal obligations relevant to legislation and policy. In addition, you will handle inbound calls from customers and third parties such as Financial Counsellors and Agencies.
Essential Skills and Experience
While experience in a similar role is desirable, your strong customer service skills from any related industry will see you navigate through these calls while delivering excellent customer focus. You will require high attention to detail and empathy in ensuring our customers have the best possible experience while providing them with accurate information to assist them with their queries.
Training
You will be provided with 10 days of paid classroom training and on the job training thereafter. You will be supported by experienced Team Leaders in a hybrid work from home and in-office environment.
