The Lowdown

As SEO Manager, youll be empowered to make our partners and their brands more valuable to the world, deriving your hands-on solutions from technical SEO, data and content-led disciplines. Youll deliver best-in-class approaches with passion, use your toolkit to enhance the user experience, and in doing so, surface our partners offerings into competitive search positions.

Whats your role

In 3 months:

Working knowledge of the EssenceMediacom agency, and its place within the wider WPP group
Working knowledge of key clients across designated patch/portfolio

In 6 months:
Assist in building client strategy with respect to Experience deliverables
Implementing and conducting Experience tactics across designated client patch, in line with Experience strategies as well as broader client strategies

In 12 months:

Full control of 3-4 clients across the Experience vertical
Working closely with Experience Lead and Chief Experience Officer with respect to identifying and documenting revenue opportunities across existing and new business.
And Beyond:

Willingness to work across the broader Experience & Content team, with a keen eye and desire to take accountability for personal growth and development.

What will help you succeed
Technical Skills

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus.
Excellent presentation and slide building skills to showcase learnings, results, and capture interest and attention.
Experienced and knowledgeable with SEO tools to diagnose, manage and track bespoke client approaches (SEMrush, ahrefs, Google Search Console).
Degree or Certification in Marketing, Communications, Media, Data, Information Technology or similar preferred.
3+ years of SEO experience.
Experience influencing clients and stakeholders.
Experience improving UX, and optimising new and existing content towards client goals.
Analytical mind and strong attention to detail.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and confident when presenting your views.
Ability to work in cross-functional teams, meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
Passion for SEO, and digital marketing as a whole.
