Programmed and WACHS have developed a tailored traineeship program designed to create employment pathways for people in the Health, Community Services and Aged Care sector.

Programmed Training Services, in partnership with WACHS, are looking for people to work within a purpose-built residential Aged Care Facility who have a genuine interest in making a difference to the lives of Residents and their families. Working as a valued team member while training as an Assistant in Nursing, you will provide care under the supervision of Nursing staff.

The Traineeship

Earn while you learn!
12 Month Traineeship that provides entry into a career pathway with WACHS with possible employment opportunities after completion
Full Time or Part Time employment available
Shift work across a 24 hour, 7 day roster including day, afternoon and night shifts.
Ongoing training and development throughout the traineeship including training at TAFE in a classroom, and face to face training on the job
Help, support and guidance throughout traineeship with a dedicated mentor
Fortnightly wage - plus paid annual leave, personal leave and superannuation

To join this exciting traineeship program you will need

Be 18 years of age or older
2 recent references
Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol and Medical and Pre-Employment Medical
Meet COVID-19 vaccination requirements and annual flu vaccination requirements
