We now have a great opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join the team, based at our food manufacturing facility in Bathurst, regional New South Wales.

What you will do
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will lead the planning, direction and coordination of the CI site plan to deliver targeted efficiencies, streamline business processes, improve value delivery to the customer and build capability of the site teams.
You will partner with key site stakeholders to assess current processes to identify and deliver improvement opportunities.
Your support will maximise the overall effectiveness of equipment, processes and the plant through uncompromising elimination of losses and improvement of plant critical measures.
This will be achieved through the application of operating principles and appropriate and recognised improvement tools including LEAN / Six Sigma techniques and a heavy focus on building capability at all levels.
Ideally you are tertiary qualified (Engineering, Science, Agriculture, Logistics, Commerce or a related discipline), and hold extensive experience in LEAN / Six Sigma methodologies, preferably within a FMCG, manufacturing or operations environment.
a commitment to building a positive culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement;
ability to work well within a team environment and build strong working relationships
sound problem solving and financial management capability;
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt accreditation as well as previous experience in implementation of TPM / LEAN systems of work will be viewed favourably.
Working across a diverse team you will lead workshops and working groups and be able to build credibility and influence within the organisation at all levels.
