Looking for volunteers with green thumbs!!
If you love spending time in the garden, bringing colour and life to green spaces and by so doing improving the quality of life for people as they enjoy the garden you help to create and maintain then this is the volunteer position for you.
Weeroona Aged Care Center, Bass Hill, is looking for people to assist with the care of their gardens.
o Time commitment flexible times - Weekdays between 7am - 3pm
o Duties: All those things that make a garden vibrant and thriving - Weeding, mulching, planting, watering, pruning, shaping, composting...
o Successful volunteers will be required to complete The Salvation Army mandatory training, undergo a Police Check and be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and the Flu
o There are no preferred qualifications for this role beyond a love of gardening.
