Teacher - Community Services

Role Type: Full Time Fixed Term (9 months)
Remuneration: min. $77,024.00 - $109,207 + superannuation (dependent on qualification & experience)

Our Health and Community Centre of Excellence (COE) delivers high quality health and community training and gives teachers and students access to state-of-the-art facilities. Our teachers are committed to developing skilled graduates by focussing on the application of educational theory in real life situations through work placement, training programs, simulated labs, and operational environments. As a teacher, you will have access to the latest technologies and equipment to help students to learn via both guided and immersive real-life experiences.

Currently we are seeking an experienced Community Services Teacher to join our Community COE team at Bendigo City Campus. The key responsibility of this role is to deliver quality vocational education and training and conduct competency-based assessment in specified program(s) in a range of settings including classroom, workplace, online environments and in the supervision of practical placements. Courses delivered by this role include, but are not limited to, Certificate IV in Community Services and Diploma of Community Services.


Relevant vocational qualification and/or competencies at least to the level to be delivered and assessed
Current Industry Experience
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or (TAE40110) including Design & Develop Assessment tools (TAEASS502) and address Adult language, literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills (TAELLN411) (TAELLN401A). A diploma or higher level qualification in adult education.
Successful applicants will also have to provide a current Working with Children Check and Federal Police Check
