NSW Planning is responsible for the strategic, statutory, policy and delivery functions of the NSW planning system. We drive a strong customer and community focused culture to deliver the once in a generation planning reform program that has been critical to support the states economic recovery.

Heritage Stoneworks forms part of Government Architect NSW (GANSW). We conserve and restore sandstone buildings and structures and ensure they stand the test of time. We also deliver the Ministers Stonework Program (MSP) and other heritage projects for individual government client agencies. Heritage Stoneworks provides a complete end-to-end solution for a range of heritage infrastructure jobs with access to the best quality sandstone.

Made up of collaborative, creative and committed people, Heritage Stoneworks is looking for a Construction/Scaffold Supervisor to assist and coordinate the management and supervision of the planning and delivery of a range of assigned building, construction, maintenance and civil projects in Heritage Stoneworks. The role assists the Project Manager and helps ensure that safety, environmental targets, business objectives and client expectations are being met.

Essential Requirements;

Holds a trade certificate or equivalent in a construction craft stream of Carpentry and Joinery, Stonemasonry, Scaffolding, Bricklaying, Painting, Plastering, Plumbing, Electrical or Mechanical with relevant experience in scaffold erection, dismantling, equipment, inspection and certification.

Holds a post trade certificate or equivalent qualification and/or expertise in a construction stream with current advanced scaffolding ticket.

Well-developed knowledge and understanding of current Work Health and Safety legislation and regulations which specifically relate to scaffold erection.
Ability to arrange and co-ordinate the efficient supervision of Construction contracts and ensure works are compliant with plans and specifications.

A valid NSW Drivers License and willingness to drive to remote locations which may include overnight stays.
