Sales Account Manager

Bruker Nano Surfaces Division (BNS) is looking for a Sales Engineer to take ownership for sales of our Tribology testing systems, Stylus and Optical Profiler (TSOM) for the territory. The successful candidate will be covering India (including Bangladesh and Sri Lanka) market. This job will be based in Delhi or Bombay India

The successful candidate will join a performance driven and energetic team to grow BNS business in the territory. He/she is expected to own and execute strategic and tactical planning for their territory, meet and exceed booking budget. He/she is expected to understand customer application and personal win and link that with Bruker solution and competitive advantage. The role involves close collaboration with our application and marketing teams as well as channel partners and provides opportunity for the candidate to devise, own and execute all aspects of a territory sales plan using a wide range of internal and external resources. The role requires acquiring prospective and maintaining current customers, attending events and leading demonstrations performed by Bruker's applications team. He/she will have regular reporting on status and progress to the Regional Sales Manager


Responsible for achieving the sales booking target through direct sales as well as through channel partners (channel partner refer to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka)
Territory strategic and tactic sales planning and execution
Define tender bidding strategy and lead the tender submission and post tender negotiation process
Build, manage and maintain a healthy sales funnel
Collaborating with marketing and application team for sales lead generation through marketing events
Lead the sample test and demonstration proceed by understanding customer application and working with application team define the demo process
Develop a strong understanding of competitive and funding landscape within the territory
Develop close relationships with key customers and opinion leaders, successfully managing collaborations
Utilizing SFDC CRM system to manage sales funnel with regular and accurate sales forecasting


Bachelor's degree in a Science or Engineering discipline as minimum requirement
Minimum 3-year experiences in sales/application in scientific instrumentation field
Fluent English is required.
Willing to travel up to 40% of time when business requires
Good logical reasoning and analytical capabilities
Ability to work in a performance-driven environment achieving defined goals
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve shared goals, but also equally comfortable working independently when required

Good leadership, communication, interpersonal, negotiation and relationship building skills
