Metals & Mining Research Manager
About the role
You will hire and lead a regional group of talented Research Associates and Analysts based in Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai. You will build a strong talent pipeline and support development of those analysts.
You will communicate a clear purpose and set of goals to your team and will collaborate with the Head of the Metals & Mining Global Analyst Team and the other Research Managers to build state-of-the-art hiring, onboarding and development processes for our colleagues in India but also globally. You will work closely with senior experts across the business to build strong coaching relationships across the Global Analyst Team.
In partnership with the managers of the Assets and Markets Research teams, you will ensure the efficient and timely delivery of our research programme across Battery Raw Materials, Base Metals, Coal and the Steel value chain.
You will also identify opportunities for your direct reports in different functions (e.g. Consulting, Product, Sales) of Wood Mackenzie and support the wider transformation of our Metals & Mining business.
